Alibaba Releases 1st AI Model for Gastric Cancer Image Screening

Alibaba DAMO Academy and Zhejiang Cancer Hospital recently released the world's first gastric cancer image screening AI model, DAMO GRAPE, which utilizes plain scan CT images to identify early gastric cancer lesions for the first time, and joined hands with 20 hospitals in mainland China to dramatically improve the detection rate of gastric cancer in a large-scale clinical study with nearly 100,000 people.

The relevant paper has recently been published in the Nature Medicine.
