SJM Resorts, S.A.'s Casino Emperor Palace and Galaxy Casino, S.A.'s Waldo Casino are scheduled to shut down at 11:59 pm on October 30 and 31, respectively, the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) announced. The DICJ will send staff to monitor the closure process, ensuring that both companies will properly handle cash and chips in the cashier, as well as unredeemed cash vouchers, chips, and accumulated jackpot pools of gaming machines, as per the plans submitted to the government.
